Episode 29 · Part 1 of 2
The Ranch That Hunts Back: Part 1

The documented facts
- In 1994, Terry and Gwen Sherman bought a 480-acre ranch in Utah's Uintah Basin, where the Ute people say the path of the skinwalker lies and will not set foot.
- Days after moving in, a giant wolf seized a calf, then absorbed six point-blank shots without flinching, bleeding, or leaving tracks.
- The Shermans lost a fifth of their cattle to precision mutilations with organs removed and no blood on the grass, and watched blue orbs patrol the fields.
- In July 1996 the family went public via the Deseret News; billionaire Robert Bigelow bought the ranch and installed the NIDS research team.
The Draugr does not invent. He documents.

Six bullets. Point-blank range. The wolf walked away. In nineteen ninety-four, Terry and Gwen Sherman bought a ranch in Utah's Uintah Basin, six hundred acres of pasture and promise. They should never have bought it.
Their cattle were found dead in the pasture, eyes cored out, ears carved away, organs removed with surgical precision. Not one drop of blood on the grass. No predator on Earth does that. The Shermans stopped sleeping with the curtains open.
Then came the blue orbs, drifting over the pasture like they were watching. And at night... a bellowing in the dark. Something massive. Something invisible. The Shermans aimed their rifles into the black, and the black aimed back. "Six shots. No blood. It just... walked off." Stitch this video if you'd spend one night on that ranch. Follow for Part 2, it gets worse. Sleep with the lights on, if you can.
Dramatized for the telling. The facts above are documented; the narration is the Draugr’s retelling of them.
