About The Draugr
The Draugr
Your narrator is a towering undead Norse warrior: braided beard bound with iron rings, ice-blue eyes, a voice like gravel dragged over stone. He tells each story dead seriously, because to him these are not stories. They are feedings. Every nightmare retold keeps him strong.
He never lies about the stories. About himself… that is another matter.
The Dreaded
That’s you: the ones who watch with the lights on, who hunt the hidden runes, who stitch the dares and send in their own nightmares. The Dreaded are the congregation, and the Draugr performs for them nightly.
The craft
- Photorealistic cinematic visuals: every beat animated, directed by the narration itself.
- Word-level craft: karaoke captions, blood-red scare words, sound designed down to the syllable.
- Hidden in plain sight: a secret rune and an Easter egg in every episode. The grimoire keeps the records.
- Your nightmares welcome: the strongest true stories sent in by viewers get animated. Offer yours.
