EP65: The Queen Who Still Walks the Tower
A headless queen still walks the Tower at night.
The Tower of London has held its dead for nearly a thousand years. Its stones remember every queen who never left.
Anne Boleyn was beheaded on Tower Green in fifteen thirty six. Guards say she still crosses that green at night, carrying her head beneath her arm.
In eighteen sixty four, a sentry challenged a white figure at the Queen's House. His bayonet passed straight through her.
The ravens are kept under the old legend. If they ever leave, the kingdom falls, so six birds are guarded night and day. She never left Tower Green.
Walk that green after dark. Leave a comment in the comment section if you would walk Tower Green alone tonight. Follow for a new true nightmare every day. Sleep with the lights on, if you can.
Dramatized for the telling. The facts above are documented; the narration is the Draugr’s retelling of them.
