Transcript
No one ever leaves me. I opened in eighteen twenty nine, and I have kept every soul since.
John Haviland built me with stone walls and solitary cells. One man alone, one skylight, silence meant to force regret.
In nineteen twenty nine, Al Capone slept in my finest cell. He screamed for Jimmy to leave him alone. Jimmy was already dead.
They closed my gates in nineteen seventy one. They turned me into a museum. But closing a door does not empty a prison. Listen. The laughter in Cellblock Twelve has no mouth.
Visitors hear whispers in my halls. Laughter where no one stands. Shadows run from cell to cell. A guard watches from the tower.
Stitch this if you would spend one night locked inside me. Follow for a new true nightmare every day. Sleep with the lights on, if you can.
Dramatized for the telling. The facts above are documented; the narration is the Draugr’s retelling of them.
